STAND! For Families Free of Violence, one of LOPC’s long time mission partners, is committed to promoting safe and strong families. Their approach to eliminating family violence is well-rounded and community-wide. In addition to providing a complete spectrum of prevention, intervention, and treatment programs, they also enlist the efforts of local residents, partners, and institutions, all of whom are striving with them to stop domestic violence and child abuse. Currently STAND! needs assistance to fund several areas vital to its support for its clients.

• 10 gifts of $25 supports a parent and child escaping a violent home by providing safe lodging, food, clothing, emergency transportation and wraparound services for an entire overnight stay.
• 10 gifts of $50 provides a safe weekend for a survivor to develop their safety plan and relocate out of the area.
• A gift of $150 can help pay PG&E bills for STAND!’s Emergency Shelter and for their Transitional Housing clients struggling with their budgets.
• Five gifts of $350 support a survivor and their family experiencing crisis for a week.
