More! Better Balance Through Exercise (Senior Adults)

We have all been challenged during the pandemic to get enough exercise. Now that we can get out more, we want to do all we can to be as active and mobile as possible. Consider walking, enrolling in yoga or tai chi classes (outdoors, online, or seated in chairs, as  needed), join fall prevention programs, even practice getting in and out of chairs and lifting small weights. Lamorinda Village has a Senior Walking Group gathering at Lafayette reservoir Each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning at 8:55 a.m., managed by nutritionist Jim Scala. Free and loosely structured. Walk faster in the front, slower at the rear! Contact Catherine Coleman for more information.
