Welcome to WOW: Women on Wednesdays
WOW is the Women’s Ministry of LOPC
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25
WOW is a welcoming community for women of all ages, backgrounds, and stages in their faith journey. WOW is where you can come as you are and find authentic friendships centered on Jesus Christ and living out his word. It is a safe space to grow, connect, and empower each other to be women who walk boldly in faith! We offer Bible studies, social gatherings, mission projects, and an annual retreat. We can’t wait for you to join us!
Bible Studies
- Daytime Book Study: 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. led by Diane Vollering (LOPC Narthex)
- Evening Book Study: 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. led by Alexis Thompson (LOPC Narthex)
WOW will start as a 7-week book study beginning on September 17 that coincides with children and youth programs Play on Wednesday (more info and registration) and YOW (more info) so that you can drop your children and join us!

We gather together at someone’s home or in the community for an opportunity to socialize, get to know each other better, and have fun! These gatherings are a chance to unwind, share laughter, build deeper friendships, and simply enjoy each other’s company. New or familiar faces – you’re always welcome, just as you are.
mission and care
Stay tuned for details on our annual mission project, a special way we serve together. We also create care baskets for LOPC mothers with newborns to show love and support. We’d love for you to join us in making an impact in our community!
