However your family comes on Sunday, know that we welcome you and are glad you are here. It’s not important how you dress, or what time you arrive, or what happened during your week. Like Jesus tells us in Mark 10, we know that the kingdom of God belongs to those who become like children – so having your child in our midst is a blessing, no matter what!
Worship is the central act of the community, and there are a variety of ways children are invited to worship here, including The Garden, our worship experience for kids from three months old to 4th grade. Our youngest ones are invited to worship in our unique Preschool Ministry.
Children are always welcome in the Sanctuary, so if your child would like to worship with you, know that our congregation loves and welcomes them. There is a Family Room in the rear of the Sanctuary, to the left as you enter the first set of doors, with windows into the Sanctuary, speakers, and a restroom so that you and your child can participate in a semi-private setting, if you wish. There are also video feeds of the service in the Welcome Center, the building to the right of the Sanctuary, and in the lobby of the Christian Life Center, to the left of the Sanctuary.
When you arrive on campus, first visit our Hospitality Kiosks on the plaza in front of the Christian Life Center. The Kiosks are located under the “Children and Youth” sign to the left of the Sanctuary. Our Hospitality Team will help you register your child, get them a name tag, direct you where to drop them off, and answer any questions you might have.
THE GARDEN
Our primary program for children on Sunday mornings is The Garden, our worship experience for children from three months old to 4th grade, which runs concurrently with the worship service in the Sanctuary at 10:00am. The program uses Bible-based curriculum for different ages to help root kids in the soil of faith. The combination of Large Group worship and teaching and Small Groups split by age helps kids apply their faith to what happens at school, at play, and at home.
- Preschool Ministry (3 months – 4 years old): Preschool Ministry nurtures our youngest children through simple stories, fun songs, and active play. Faith for a preschooler is about safe relationships, and our programs helps them learn they are a beloved member of our community. Preschool Ministry is located on the first floor of the Christian Life Center every Sunday morning.
- Elementary Ministry (PreK – 4th Grade): Designed to incite wonder in the minds of younger children and to help older kids discover how their faith has an impact on their everyday lives, our Elementary Ministry puts kids in relationship with adult volunteers who will help them take these next steps on their journey of faith.
