In the heart of Guatemala, Fotokids is an organization that harnesses the transformative potential of visual arts to empower students to overcome the hardships of poverty. A long-time mission partner of LOPC, Fotokids believes that education is the cornerstone of change. Fotokids equips students with the tools they need to process their hardships, develop their talents, and build a better future for themselves.

By supporting Fotokids, you will enable students to develop marketable skills in photography, graphic design, and multimedia production. These skills open doors to employment and entrepreneurial opportunities, empowering students to become self-sufficient and contribute positively to their communities.

In order for students to be successful, each student requires both an educational and vocational scholarship. An educational scholarship provides students with uniforms, shoes and pays school fees. A vocational scholarship covers Fotokids’ teachers’ salaries, media and art supplies, IT training, equipment, lunch and transportation for students. Educational and vocational scholarships cost $600 each for a total of $1200 annually per student. Our goal for this special offering collection is to raise enough money to cover educational and vocational scholarships for 6 students. We can reach this goal if 72 people give $100!
