LOPC is committed to serving others locally, nationally, and around the world with financial support as well as with sweat equity. We realize that partners often have unexpected needs arise that require extra support and when this occurs we offer the opportunity to the congregation to help fund these opportunities through a “Special Offering.” Special offerings help fund specific needs and unforeseen disasters.

Love Does special Offering: Hope Solutions
This month, our congregation is supporting Hope Solutions, an organization working to end homelessness through a proven housing-first approach paired with individualized supportive services. Stable, permanent housing, combined with dignity-centered care, helps people rebuild their lives, their health, and their sense of community.
Founded in 1997 by a coalition of local faith communities, Hope Solutions has grown into a premier organization in Contra Costa County, reaching over 4,000 people with transformational housing and services. Their work is data-backed, relationship-driven, and focused on long-term stability rather than short-term fixes.
This support is especially critical right now. Federal HUD funding for permanent supportive housing is increasingly unstable, making local partnerships and community support more important than ever to keep our neighbors housed and supported.
Our goal for this special offering is to raise $7,000. Gifts of all sizes make a difference – whether providing fresh sheets for a child, mental health support for seniors, community meals, school backpacks, or parent support groups.

Ways to Give
All donations received will benefit Hope Solutions.
-To donate online, click the “Donate Now” Button below which takes you to our online giving page. There, please select the “Give one time” tab and then “Love Does Special Offering” in the dropdown menu.
-Write a check to LOPC with “Love Does Special Offering” in the memo and place in the collection box in the Narthex or the black mailbox in front of the Ministry Center.
-To donate cash during Worship, please use a pew envelope and label it “Love Does Special Offering”
