DESCRIPTION:Parent Education Event for Parents with Preschool and Elementary Age Children  \nWednesday\, September 10th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Lafayette-Orinda Presbyterian Church (in the Oak Room) Practical Resilience: Tools to Support Your Child and Yourself \nThis interactive session offers parents a science-informed\, compassion-centered toolkit for helping their children stay regulated and connected\, even in high-pressure moments. The session is designed to foster self-awareness\, and mindset shifts for both parents and children in ways that feel realistic and sustainable. Discussion will also include a realistic approach for creating a calm connection between parent and child\, in multiple situations. \nOur speaker\, Yush Sztalkoper is the founder of NeuroSpark+ and the creator of Root Reflection™ and the SHIFT Method™ – frameworks that blend neuroscience\, lived experience\, and practical compassion to support emotional safety and belonging for all children and youth.
