Anand and his wife Rosie founded the Home in Visakhapatnam\, India over 20 years ago\, and through LOPC’s long-standing support\, they have helped educate and empower more than 1\,000 young people to become self-sufficient adults. Today\, graduates are working in fields like medicine\, technology\, and business\, and raising families of their own. \nPlease join Anand on the Plaza after each service to learn more about his work and LOPC’s partnership with Children of Faith. He’ll be available to talk and share a cup of Indian Chai. DESCRIPTION:For over 30 years\, the Extended Family Program (EFP) has been helping families move from homelessness into stable homes by furnishing their apartments with essential items. EFP works with partners like Shelter Inc.\, Winter Nights\, the Veterans Administration\, and Church World Services to connect people in need with housing. Run by dedicated volunteers from Walnut Creek United Methodist Church and Lafayette Christian Church\, this program truly makes a difference in our community. \nLOPC has proudly supported EFP since 2023 and is excited to once again collect bedding and towels to help families settle into their new homes. \n\nSheets (Twin/Full ONLY) New or in very good condition with no stains or repairs.\nBlankets (Twin/Full ONLY) New or in very good condition with no stains or repairs.\nTowel Sets or Singles (Bath\, Hand & Washcloth + Kitchen).
